The historical location will be reopening again with a new restaurant from Marc Forgione. The approach is still Italian with some updated and inventive creativity when it comes to the menu: squash blossom zeppole; sesame buns with lamb mortadella and pistachios; smoked linguine with Manila clams and green garlic gremolata. The wine list is heavily from Italy and the United States. Inside, the original terrazzo floor and revolving door have been restored. Divided into two areas, the bar in front offers views of fresh pasta being crafted, while the main dining area will feature old wood tables, wall paneling made from salvaged wood, and art throughout that is influenced by the neighborhood.

LOU REED: CAUGHT BETWEEN THE TWISTED STARS

The New York Public Library for the Performing Arts at Lincoln Center will be hosting Lou Reed: Caught Between the Twisted Stars, a large-scale exhibition from Reed's archive. The exhibition will display the life and work of the music icon whose profound musical, visual, and cultural influence are still affecting artists and writers today. The exhibition is told through the voices, images, and music of Reed's music projects; through his performances and theater works; the articles, books, and poems that he has authored; and his own photography. The exhibition is free to all and no library card, ticket, or appointment is needed to view the exhibition.
